Ruth is an experienced NHS senior leader who has worked across the healthcare sector within commissioning, contract/project management and transformation for over 15 years. Ruth brings the ability to build strong partnerships to deliver stakeholder requirements across a complex system environment at all levels. Ruth has experience in both programme, project management and transformation and specialises within the area of urgent care, and community services system support.

Maggie Lay

Maggie is a Clinical Informatics Lead and Clinical Safety Officer at South Central and West CSU, as well as a Registered Nurse and Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics. She has worked clinically for over 25 years, mostly in community settings, and is passionate about the importance of relevant and timely information to support the effective and kind delivery of care.

Maggie currently provides CSO expertise to SCW customers and ensures the cross-pollination of digital and transformation initiatives within the organisation. She believes that Clinical Informatics should be a core part of clinical competence and professionalism across all disciplines and grades: offering roles from the local champion to the strategic leader, promoting enquiry and providing information from the patient level to the population level, and transforming the way we do things.

Kate Knight

Kate has 17 years of experience in the commercial sector, central government and the NHS and, as a senior manager, has a track record in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder contracts.

Kate has worked in the media centre at the Department of Health and led teams advising Secretaries of State for Health on reputation and media handling. She held social marketing roles at PCTs and SHAs and recently led the delivery of a large-scale contract with 14 Local Authorities in the South West, using evidence-based social marketing techniques to deliver positive changes in lifestyle behaviours across large scale populations. As head of SCW’s Public Health Action team, she works with Local Authorities and STPs, focusing on prevention and behaviour change.

John O'Connell

John is an experienced international commercial director working in the publishing and healthcare intelligence sectors.

He delivers sustainable organisational improvement and performance through better use of data and evidence-based medicine. John is a strong commercial professional skilled in market development, negotiation, operations management, management, healthcare analytics and leadership.

David Patrick

David is an experienced management consultant with a broad breadth of business change and technical delivery experience, with depth on Data, Information and Knowledge Management, Collaboration, Business Intelligence and emerging technologies and Innovation. He has a strong customer and outcome focus, with an ability to create innovative approaches and solutions to business issues and problem-solving, and looks to create business value through leveraging technology.

Further strengths include the ability to build strong, long‐term mutually beneficial relationships across an organisation and being a strategic thinker. Experienced at operating at all levels up to C level in delivering business strategy, business transformation and change initiatives, and providing advice and insights on emerging technologies and evolving business trends.

Chetan Modha

Chetan has extensive experience in delivering large scale programmes, with a particular interest in population health and the use of PHM techniques and analytics to better inform decision making across health and social care.

Chetan supports systems (ICSs/STPs/CCGs/PCNs/General Practice) to adopt population health approaches in establishing, developing, evaluating and commissioning services using insightful and impactable analytics. The systems use bespoke population segmentation modelling to describe the population being served in a meaningful way. 

Michael Knight

Michael has developed a wide range of technology management experience, having worked in a number of technical roles including software testing, infrastructure engineering and service operations. Michael is focused on delivering secure and reliable services to our customers, utilising experience gained through delivery of critical national infrastructure.
