Philippa Turner

Philippa joined SCW in October 2020 as a Regional Head for the NHS Immunisation Management Service working with NHSE flu and COVID-19 regional leads in the Midlands to improve vaccination uptake and support effective delivery of vaccination programmes. 

Philippa is an experienced NHS manager who has worked across all levels of the organisation for over 20 years including as an operational manager in a specialist acute hospital Trust, a CCG commissioner and more recently as commissioner of specialised services for NHSE in the Midlands. Philippa’s previous experience also includes working as a secondary school teacher of modern foreign languages.

Clare Copestake

Clare Copestake

Clare joined SCW in 2019 as a Project Manager and clinician RN/SCPHN (HV). Clare is an experienced project manager who has worked for the NHS clinically in both primary care and acute services for over 20 years. Clare’s clinical experience has been gained across a wide range of health services including acute medicine, surgery, oncology, women's health, Children’s Continuing Healthcare, and health visiting. Clare’s previous experience also includes leading roles in education, training, and professional development in Higher Education and for a major acute trust. 

Since joining SCW, Clare has worked on several key projects in the South East/West from cancer services, clinical service/network reviews, and regional flu programme support to child/adolescent mental health. Clare joined SCW’s Improving Immunisation Uptake (IIU) Team in July 2020, initially providing project management expertise and additional clinical input. Clare is now the Ops Lead and a permanent member of the team.
