Dani is an experienced member of NHS SCW’s Business Intelligence (BI) Consultancy team, working across a range of internal, local, regional and national projects. She has a passion for improvement, inclusivity, and transforming data into insightful information to improve the lives and services for all.

Dani began her NHS career in mental health, which continues to be a strong interest. Alongside her role as Associate BI Consultant, she is a Mental Health First Aider, and also Engagement Officer for NHS SCW’s Disability Network.

Michelle Kennedy

Michelle is an experienced, results and outcomes-oriented independent prescribing pharmacist with a solid academic background who has a clinical certificate at Masters level Genomic Medicine and Clinical Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice. Michelle has extensive knowledge and expertise across various sectors including pharmacy, offender health, community health, national policy review and implementation, workforce education and development, service improvement and healthcare leadership. Michelle has implemented service and system-wide Patient Safety Incident Response frameworks. Michelle thrives in highly pressurised and challenging working environments with the ability to stay calm and control difficult situations. Michelle is dedicated to ensuring that healthcare decisions are based on robust evidence and that patients are at the heart of everything we do.

Emlyn Jones

Emlyn Jones

Emlyn is an experienced and versatile interoperability architect with a proven record of implementing successful interoperability solutions across Health and Social Care. He has a background in software development for both public and private sector organisations and is passionate about the use of Open Standards in the Health and Care sector.  Emlyn has been working in the NHS for over 10 years. Starting as a software developer, he then spent time working as a Linux system administrator and developer in a Medical Physics department before joining the Connecting Care shared record programme at its start in 2013.

As well as working as technical lead for the Connecting Care shared records Programme, Emlyn also provides interoperability expertise to other programmes run by SCW and NHS England. He is quick to understand and see the opportunities to implement meaningful and achievable  solutions in complex and shifting environments.

Adam Horton-Tuckett

  • Position: Information Governance Consultancy Lead

Adam has established an enviable reputation as a leading Information Governance expert, with detailed knowledge of all areas including information-related laws, international information security standards, NHS regulations and guidance.  Adam is particularly adept at enabling all levels of staff to understand and follow information governance requirements and identifying and implementing solutions to the IG challenges of any project or programme. Adam is qualified as a practitioner in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Freedom of Information Act and as an Information Security Lead Auditor.


Andy Payne

Andy Payne is an Enterprise Architect in the Transformation Consulting practice at SCW and leads SCW’s Architecture Practice. He is a proven Digital Health Architect equally fluent in business and technology. Andy has been designing and delivering technology solutions for large healthcare organisations worldwide for over 15 years, with 11 years at the forefront of the innovative field of interoperable citizen-facing digital health and care solutions such as Personal Health Records, Personal Data Stores and Patient Engagement solutions. Currently, Andy is supporting NHS England’s Data for R&D programme, as well as supporting national interoperability programmes for Social Care and Frontline Digitisation. Prior to this, Andy supported NHS England CTO design of the Target Architecture for the NHS in England.

Mike Rees

Mike is a CCAB ACCA Accountancy professional with 15 years’ experience in the public and private finance sectors, with the past six years being within the NHS focusing on delivering high quality projects for a variety of customers at Local, National, Regional and Provider level. Mike now works at SCW leading on Finance Consultancy focusing on areas such as Financial Recovery, Strategic Capital, Business Cases, and other aspects of NHS Finance.

Melissa has 25 years of experience working within the public sector both at local authority level and within the NHS. She is experienced in supporting the delivery of transformation projects across sectors with an interest in transforming, digitising and connecting services. Melissa is committed to co-producing services with the patient at the centre of decision-making.

Paul has more than 20 years of experience working across several related disciplines including organisational development, change management, engagement, communications, and project management roles. He has gained experience working across both the public and private sector. 

Claire Cheminade

Claire is a Public Health Leader, a registered Public Health Practitioner (UKPHR) and Public Health Nutritionist (AfN) specialising in workforce development and education. A qualified programme and project manager, she has significant experience across the public sector in NHS and Government at a local, regional and national level, with a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and Wellbeing.

Claire is responsible for managing the external facing portfolio of work for NHS SCW’s EDI and Wellbeing function within the People Solutions team. Providing professional equality, diversity, inclusivity and wellbeing expertise into specialist and multi-disciplinary teams, working collaboratively at a strategic and operational level to develop and deliver interventions across the health and care sector. She brings knowledge and skills to provide subject matter expertise to customers to ensure, enable and enhance the EDI and Wellbeing of their workforces and clients across a range of topics including mental health, women’s health across the lifecycle and workplace wellbeing.
