The SCW apprenticeship scheme post-pandemic

SCW has been at the forefront of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering a range of critical services during the 2020-21 period whilst all of our staff were mobilised within 24 hours to work from home as part of the government's lockdown response.

As we move through the pandemic response period, our focus has moved firmly to resourcing SCW in a growing market which includes SCW further developing and accelerating our apprenticeship offer which was particularly challenged in last years’ environment.

With emerging health and social care developments, our focus will be on growing our analytical, coaching, mentoring and leadership capabilities. We are committed to working towards the public sector apprenticeship target and have recommenced advertising apprenticeship positions.

Opportunities, when available, will be promoted on our recruitment pages, and through NHS jobs.

Throughout the pandemic the wellbeing of our staff has been central to our organisation and through continued staff feedback, we have placed a strong emphasis on staff satisfaction and wellbeing.

Our commitment to developing and recruiting our people continued during the pandemic through our graduate recruitment scheme, armed forces schemes, and a focus on delivering our services in response to the needs of our customers.
