Bank workers
Bank workers are engaged directly by the organisation, working on flexible contracts. Payment is aligned to the national NHS Agenda for Change pay rates and workers have the opportunity to enrol in the NHS pensions scheme.

Contract workers
SCW and the wider NHS are trying to reduce their use of interims and agency staff in line with NHS England's drive for efficiencies across the healthcare system. However, the work we do means that we do sometimes engage agency staff for pieces of discreet, specialist work, working alongside our in-house teams.
At SCW we don't engage interims directly due to Standing Financial Instructions, even if they have their own limited company, so we engage our workers via the Public Sector Resourcing Framework, managed by Alexander Mann Solutions.
