Hybrid working, sometimes referred to as ‘blended’ working, means that colleagues split their time between the workplace (an SCW office or partner site) and remote working (anywhere that is not an SCW office or partner site).
Working from home
This is the most common way of working remotely, but some colleagues may choose to work from another location that is more suitable for their needs. This will look different for all colleagues and could include home working most of the time, office working the majority of the time, or anything in between.
What is flexible working?
Flexible working is broader than just a place of work, it also covers working hours, the time you are required to work, and much more.
We believe all our colleagues should be offered the chance to work flexibly, and whilst we have core 9-5 hours, we will consider all requests on a case-by-case basis.

Supporting you through the process
- We can share the appropriate business case template upon request and help you draft this. The template used will depend on the value of the funding being requested.
- A Service Level Agreement (SLQ) will need to be developed in parallel to agree on terms of engagement to ensure we maintain momentum in the contracting process.
- Once we receive confirmation that a business case has been approved and a PO number will be forthcoming, we can agree on a mobilisation date.
