Congratulations, ENEI TIDE silver standard award 2024

We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the prestigious Silver TIDE award from the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI). The rigorous and independent Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) process recognised our deep commitment to our values, people, EDI and wellbeing, as well as successful initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture, and incredible collaboration across the organisation.

In early 2024, NHS SCW partnered with the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) to enhance our 'Belonging at SCW' programme.

Recognising the need for independent benchmarking and assessment of our progress and people culture, we underwent a thorough evaluation through the ENEI Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation (TIDE) process. The assessment resulted in an impressive score of 77%, which led to a further audit process. The top entries in this evaluation are awarded Bronze, Silver, or Gold TIDE awards.

Following the audit, NHS SCW was honoured with the prestigious Silver TIDE Award. This recognition reflects our deep commitment to our values, people, equality, diversity, inclusion (EDI), and wellbeing, as well as our successful implementation of impactful initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.

This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible collaboration across the organisation, including the close work with employee networks and the dedication of our amazing people.

I am proud to share the news that SCW has achieved the Silver TIDE 2024 Award. I believe this accomplishment will greatly support our future efforts in people, EDI, and wellbeing, and further establish NHS SCW as a great place to work. This level of external and objective validation is something I had always hoped the programme would achieve. Such an award also recognises the wide-ranging collaborative and multidisciplinary work across NHS SCW. Well done, everyone. James Jackson, People and Wellbeing Programme Manager, NHS SCW
